Headquartered in Irvine, California, Arta Health Network and Arta Western Medical Group (collectively known as Arta) were established in 1995 as Independent Practice Associations (IPAs).  Each contracts with over 800 primary care and specialist physicians to provide a full spectrum of medical and ancillary services to health plan members. Both of Arta’s physician networks cover most areas within Orange County, California.  

Arta Western Medical Group is contracted with CalOptima, Orange County's Medicaid (or Medi-Cal, as it's known here in California) health plan agency, to serve Medi-Cal and Healthy Families members.

Arta Health Network serves HMO, Healthy Families, and Medicare members under several health plans, including Aetna, Arta Medicare Health Plan, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Care1st Health Plan, Cigna, Health Net and MD Care.
