As a contracted-provider network with the above listed Knox-Keene licensed health plans, Arta Health Network must meet the standards of participation for federal Medicare and Medicaid programs administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The IPA must also comply with all health plan contract requirements, which include compliance provisions and standards set forth in Title 28 of the California Code of Regulations relating to Managed Health Care (commonly referred to as the “Knox-Keene Regulations”). These regulations are administered by the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC).
