The Arta IPAs consist of Arta Health Network (AHN) and Arta Western Medical Group (AWMG). 

The Arta IPAs were established in 1995 to form a network of dedicated, high quality, and geographically-accessible physicians and ancillary service providers to render health care services under a managed-care model to Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, commercial and senior health plan beneficiaries (also referred to as members) in Orange County, California. 

Combined, the Arta IPAs coordinate care for 75,000 health plan members and are contracted with over 350 primary care physicians, 450 specialist physicians, and 300 ancillary service providers.  Acute-care inpatient and outpatient hospital services are rendered through a network of hospitals affiliated with Arta's contracted health plans.

 
The Arta IPAs are managed by Western Medical Management (WMM), a health care management services organization administering daily operations to ensure that members receive covered medical services through their primary care physicians, via authorized referrals to specialists and other service providers, and through the coordination of inpatient and outpatient hospital care. 

 WMM is also responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payments to all contracted and non-contracted providers for health care services rendered to the Arta IPAs' assigned members.
