Arta has met the health care needs of its members since 1995, when it became one of the original health networks under CalOptima, the County-Organized Health System providing services to the Medicaid (or Medi-Cal, as it's known here in California) population of Orange County.  

Arta also contracts with most major commercial health plans, such as Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Cigna, Health Net, MD Care, and Arta Medicare Health Plan.  

Arta currently provides health care services to 75,000 HMO, Medi-Cal, Medicare, and Healthy Families members.
